About Oladipo

Oladipo is an award-winning playwright and academic. His plays have been produced in London, Nigeria, Brazil and the United States. He has a Masters in Literature, Representation and Modernity, and a PhD in African Drama. Oladipo has taught courses in Post-Colonial Theatres, African Literatures, and creative writing for a number of universities including Goldsmiths, University of London and for the Workers Educational Association. He has run creative writing workshops for theatres and organizations including Soho Theatre, Theatre Centre, the Arvon Centre and Spread the Word. He has run playwriting workshops in Nigeria, the United States, Turkey and Brazil. Oladipo also reviews essay submissions for the African Performance Review journal.

A current RLF Writing Fellow at the University of Greenwich, Oladipo tailors workshops to the writing needs of students. Oladipo’s aim is to enable students to get past their inhibitions to write clearly and concisely for impact.
