About Neil

A full-time author of over fifty published books – fiction, biography and other non-fiction – Neil Hanson is also a journalist, broadcaster and acclaimed public speaker, who lectures and delivers writing workshops all over the world. His immense and diverse practical experience enables him to engage with students of all abilities and in a wide range of disciplines. In particular, he has developed a range of imaginative and engaging ways to help students achieve greater clarity in their academic writing and improve their research, close reading and editing skills.
